What we do:

Isotopologue Profiling

Rapid progress in instrumentation and software made isotopologue profiling by mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) one of the most innovative and powerful analytical methods in metabolic sciences. In pilot studies, the method has been exploited for the analysis of metabolic pathways and flux in pathogenic microorganisms, such as Listeria monocytogenes under in vitro conditions, as well as under in vivo intracellular conditions. The method is not restricted to microorganisms, but can also be used for metabolic flux analyses in higher organisms, such as plants, insects and mammals.
